» metalexander, the language is not very difficult. the level of linguistic difficulty is similar to that for german or french.

the big problem is that there was a lot of literature in panjabi before the 20th century, but most of that literature has not been published. in pakistan as well as india, panjabi is not strongly supported by the state.

so what's actually difficult is finding good materials to study this language. i have a panjabi-english dictionary, which i will post, but i wish i had a lo... (30.07.2010)
